OUR Work and Facilities
We support over 300 residents in diverse facilities tailored to individual needs: from small group homes to a farm-based retreat, a frail care center, and specialized facilities for dual diagnosis.
-
The CMHP Clinic was established in 2004 with initial support from the European Union. It provides primary health care to individuals with long-term psychiatric diagnoses, especially in areas where government services are limited or inaccessible. Located on the Stikland Hospital grounds next to House Miles Bowker, the clinic is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 - 16:00 and is staffed by three professional nursing sisters and support staff. A 24-hour emergency telephone service is available to registered service users after hours.
The clinic works closely with government hospitals and clinics for referrals. With the support of our trained caregivers, early signs of relapse or health concerns are detected quickly, reducing the need for hospitalization.
-
Our frail care centre is housed in the same building as Bowker House. It offers ongoing care and support for long-term residents whose physical health has deteriorated to the point where they can no longer live independently in one of our other facilities. This ensures a continuum of care in a familiar and supportive environment.
